Cub Scout Day Camp

Pack 802 is dedicated to the ideals of Scouting. We believe in giving young men a solid moral foundation rooted in values of God, Honor and Country.

The Cub Scout Oath and Law are the comerstones of our training. We also focus on youth activities, social events and camping to build self-confidence, camaraderie, and good sportsmanship.  An emphasis on making learning fun is what makes Cub Scouts a great experience for young boys.

Pack 802 utilizes the concept of “An Ideal Year of Scouting” for our dues. Our annual dues cover most of the fees for the year, including: the famous Pinewood Derby cars, badges/awards, and the Blue and Gold Banquet.

We usually camp at least two times per year. The Greater Jacksonville area provides some amazing camping facilities and we try to take advantage of a wide variety of them. Most camping events are for the whole family as are most scouting events.

Pack Meetings are held monthly at the Fleming Island Elementary Cafeteria @ 6:30 PM.  Our Pack and Den meetings are full of fun activities and individual recognition.  Check out the calendar for specific dates.

With our enormously successful fall popcorn fundraiser, Pack 802 is able to fund many exciting activities for the Scouts. Pack 802 offers every scout the opportunity to earn prizes and a free trip to Cub Scout Day Camp by selling popcorn!

To make all the events happen, Pack 802 is filled with terrific volunteers. Please consider volunteering.  Check out the open positions on the Committee Chair Chat  page.
